Once you approve our quote, all that is needed to get your project started is a 50% deposit and some signed paperwork.  Our sales team will then lead you through the phases of your project and all that is required to ensure the project runs smoothly and on time. We then go ahead and schedule your template! Our  Field Measure Representative will come out to your home and digitally measure your project.  He will also provide you with any technical information and will work with you to make sure all the specs and technical details are taken care of. The digital images of your countertops will then be passed onto our CAD center for analysis and preparation for fabrication. Please note that Tear Out of existing countertops is only done by Alpha Granite at client request.

The final price will be calculated based on the measurements taken on the jobsite at templating. We will also verify the stone and the edge selected. Templates will need to be approved by you before proceeding with fabrication.  Depending on the scope of the job, a layout of your templates on the selected slabs may be an option.

All fabrication is done at our location in Austin, TX using state of the art CNC machinery.  The seams are perfectly cut and located by the CNC Router and one can easily identify Alpha Granite's Seams by their shape and by how well they fit together.

Our experienced hand polishers finish off the countertops to the high standard our customers have come to expect.  A careful inspection is made of every piece to make sure that the quality of the product and workmanship is pristine and only then is it dispatched for installation.

At Alpha Granite and Tile we value our employees and their safety is our primary concern.  We hold regular safety meetings and have annual safety checks.

The last and final step is the installation of your new countertops . All the countertops will be installed and seamed up where we deem necessary. Cooktop and drop-in sink cutouts will be made on site including any faucet locations that may not have been specified at template.

Cooktop, slide in ranges, drop in sinks and faucets will be checked for sizing to ensure accurate placement. Every precaution will be taken to limit the mess, but most installation and demolition work will create some dust and dirt. You should expect some dust to settle after the removal of your countertops. Please be prepared to wipe up dust for a few days.

To minimize the spread of dust in your home you may want to partition the work area from other parts of your home and turn off your air conditioning system. The countertops will be cleaned and a sealer will be applied when necessary. (Sealer is used mostly on natural stone.) The job will then be inspected by you and the installer, and after agreeing that all is well it is required that the job is signed off as complete. Payment is due on that time.
